cable modem, firewall, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and Virtual Private Network
(VPN) capabilities into a single compact package. In addition to four
RJ-45 ethernet ports on the rear panel, you'll also find two RJ-11
telephone jacks that provide connectivity for fax and Voice over IP (VoIP).

This is an extremely robust, capable and configurable piece of equipment
and is part of the Cisco uBR900 series product family.
It is a fully integrated Cisco IOSŪ router and is a CableLabsŪ
certified Data-Over-Cable Service-Interface-Specifications (DOCSIS) 1.0
cable modem.
This compact device includes the familiar features and programming
interface of other routers in Cisco's extensive line of small and
medium-sized business product offerings.
With it's integrated Voice-over-IP (VoIP), Virtual Private Network (VPN)
and router functionality, the Cisco uBR924 is designed to deliver
feature-rich broadband access for telecommuters, the
small-office/home-office (SOHO) and small-branch-office customers.
